Opportunity Description:
  • College Access Coaches act as mentors to T3 teens for one full academic term (Oct– Jan & Feb - June), working 1:1 with career exploration, college preparedness, tutoring and character building to foster youth development.
  • Coaches are required to volunteer 2hrs minimum per week, Training provided.
  • Coaches have the flexibility to mentor at chosen branches, but must attend trainings, orientations, and workshops at the Wipper Teen Center in Salem, Oregon. 
  • Topics covered through the program include, but are not limited to: Career Exploration, Academic Success/Tutoring, Financial Literacy, Individual Reflection, Service-Learning Days, Academic Major Exploration, Personal Work Experience
